Paradores, Boutique hotels or Manor Houses set in townships along the way, surrounded in nature to compliment your Camino. They generally offer home-cooking meals using local or home-grown produce. You walk your Camino at your own pace, and you can choose to walk alone or with others as you wish. You will be provided with maps and a briefing of the terrain before you begin each day’s walk. Along the Way, you will also be guided by the yellow arrows, so you need not worry about getting lost. We have meeting points along the day's walk where our support vehicle will be waiting with snacks, fruit and water and to make sure everything is OK. If along the Way, you do not want to keep walking for any reason, you can hop on the support vehicle for a rest and re-commence when you feel up to it.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Porto

Meeting at 3:00 pm at the Hotel **** downtown with our guides for the presentation of the group and explanation of the development of the tour. We will go out to visit the historic center of the city, including a visit to a winery for a tasting and wine tasting of Oporto, after which we will have a lively typical Portuguese dinner with Fados. Accommodation in a 4 **** hotel downtown.

Day 2: Viana do Castelo

We start from Oporto to start our first stage on foot along the Portuguese Way of the coast, from Povoa do Varzim to Aguçadoura (8 km). Transfer to Viana do Castelo. Lunch in Viana in downtown restaurant of a typical menu of Portuguese food. Climb on the funicular to the Santa Luzia mountain, to discover spectacular views of the city, visit the Sacred Heart of Jesus Shrine. Accommodation and dinner at Hotel 4 **** in Viana do Castelo.

Day 3: A Guarda

Our stage today will be a nice walk from Forte Cao, passing through Vila Praia de Ancora to Moleda (7 kms), walking along the same beach in some section. After our trek we will travel to the town of Camihña where we will embark on a ferry crossing the mouth of the Miño river, to the town of A Guarda. Visit of the Castro and Monte de Santa Tegra. Lunch at the port of A Guarda. Dinner and accommodation in Baiona.

Day 4: Baiona

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our stage at the Romanesque bridge of A Ramallosa to the beach of O Vao (11 km), with beautiful views of the Vigo estuary. At the end of our walk we will have a magnificent lunch in the famous Stone Market based on seafood and fish. After lunch and if the weather permits, we will climb to the Mirador do Cepudo, to enjoy the best views of the Cies Islands. Return to the Baiona hotel. Free dinner.

Day 5: Redondela

Today we will complete our stage at the foot of the Camino de la Costa, from the outskirts of Vigo to Redondela (10 km). A stage that will offer us spectacular views of the Vigo estuary. After the walk we will go to Arcade, to enjoy once again the magnificent seafood of the area in one of its typical oyster beds. Transfer to our luxury rural accommodation. Dinner in the accommodation.

Day 6: Pontevedra

On this day, we will walk from Puente Sampaio to the center of Pontevedra (13 km). After our stage we will have a splendid lunch in a downtown restaurant, where we will taste the best of Galician cuisine. Accommodation and dinner at the 4 **** hotel in Pontevedra. Previously our guides will make a walk through the historic center of Pontevedra to visit among other places the Shrine of the Pilgrim MTA.

Day 7: Armenteira

Today, we continue our Camino de Santiago by the so-called Spiritual Variation, following the route that was followed 2,000 years ago by the remains of the Apostle Santiago on his transfer from Palestine to Santiago de Compostela. We begin the day with a visit to the Monastery of Poio and its beautiful mosaics dedicated to the Camino de Santiago. After this visit we will move to stop or the beautiful fishing village of Combarro. After the visit we start our stage on foot to the Monastery of Armenteira from the Mirador de Loureiro (6 km). Another stage in full nature through forests to Armenteira. Lunch in the area of Armenteira and visit the Monastery. Transfer back to Pontevedra and free time to get to know this beautiful city. Accommodation and dinner free.

Day 8: Cambados

This journey will take us from Armenteira to the port of Puente Arnelas (12.9 km), covering the price of the stone and water route and the banks of the Umia river. At the end of our stage we will move to Cambados to enjoy a visit to the exclusive Pazo de Rubianes, where we will taste in a unique environment the best typical Albariño wines of the Rías Bajas and a selection of tapas in this historic Pazo that houses one of the best wineries of the area. After lunch, we will move to our hotel in Cambados. In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour of Cambados with dinner at the Michelin star restaurant. Accommodation at a 4 **** hotel in Cambados.

Day 9: Padrón

Today, it will be very special since we will sail in a private boat following the route that according to tradition followed the remains of the Apostle Santiago, in his transfer from Palestine to Galicia. Embarking in Vilanova de Arousa, we will go up the river to Pontecesures (28 km), where according to the legend, the boat carrying the remains of the Apostle, docked in a ``pedrón`` (large stone), which we will see in the Church of Santiago in Padrón. We will visit this town, famous for its peppers and ascend to the place known as Santiaguiño do Monte, where the Jacobean tradition also indicates that the Apostle preached during his trip to Roman Hispania. Lunch at a restaurant in Padrón. Return to Cambados. Free dinner.

Day 10: O Milladoiro

Today we walk our last stage before our entry into the Holy City, from Faramellos to Ponte do Rio Sar (11 km). After our stage on foot, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest with a lunch at the Fogar de Santiso, a traditional Galician restaurant where we will appreciate the best of the gastronomy and traditions of this land. After lunch, transfer to the Relaix & Châteaux hotel just outside of Santiago. Free to enjoy this magnificent accommodation and its full SPA. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 11: Santiago

Finally, our big day arrives, the arrival in Santiago. Departing from Monte do Gozo, we will travel the last 5 kilometers to reach the Cathedral and attend the Pilgrim's Mass, after which we will admire the flight of the famous Botafumeiro, (guaranteed whenever it is operational). Then we will arrive as medieval pilgrims to our lodging in the Parador de los Reyes Católicos, in the beautiful Plaza del Obradoiro, where we will enjoy a free afternoon to explore this World Heritage city. At night, we will have a very special farewell dinner full of surprises in it, we will receive our certificate of visit to the Cathedral issued by the Cathedral Chapter. Accommodation at the Parador.

Day 12: Finisterre

After breakfast, we will have a complete visit of the historical center on foot with a local guide, to get to know the corners and the history of this Holy City created around the Sepulcher of the Apostle. We will finish this tour with a visit to the roofs of the Cathedral, where we will know all the secrets of the construction of this magnificent temple that took centuries to complete. After these visits, we will go to the perfect epilogue of our pilgrimage, Finisterre, the end of the world baptized by the Romans and that today is the final goal of many pilgrims, who continue walking until the end of the world known in antiquity. We will have a lunch in the port of Finisterre, with the best products from the Galician coasts, after which we will visit the lighthouse, its cliffs and the famous 0 (zero) kilometer of the Camino de Santiago. Before returning to Santiago, we will make another brief stop in Muxía, another Jacobean landmark, and its Sanctuary of the Virgin of La Barca, who appeared to Santiago on a stone boat in the sea when he was preaching on Iberian lands . Return to Santiago and accommodation at the Parador.

Day 13: Santiago

Farewell and end of our services. Good way!!
